Beware of Sasquatch

Sasquatch is one of the most epic music festivals in America. With its location being in the mountainous Washington hills full of wide open landscapes Saquatch is the place for huge festival fans. It is held every year at the end of May smack dab in the middle of Spring. It presents some of the most gorgeous views known to man. The music played is a variety of Indie rock, and singer-song writers. They also play a variety of hip hop and alternative rock. Sasquatch present the ultimate experience desired by me a huge festival fan.

One huge plan of mine by the end of the four years of college I plan to make a huge road trip out to Washington to experience this festival first hand. The vast wild landscapes can allow a person to become completely obliterated to the wild. This has to be the ultimate experience.

Bonnaroo Go Wild!

Bonnaroo is another one of America’s largest music festivals! This crazy fun filled event occurs once a year in the music capital of Nashville Tennessee. On a widespread 700 acre farm landscape America’s top musical talent come out to put on the show of a lifetime. Bonnaroo is mostly run by the musical genres of indie rock, world music, hip hop, jazz, Americana, bluegrass, country music, folk, gospel, reggae, and electronic.  This grand festival has an interesting start in which musical legend Dr. John from New Orleans began the concert to accompany all sorts of live music. The name Bonnaroo is coined from the French word for good, Bon and the French word for streets, rue. The concert name literally means best in the streets because it accompanies all sorts of music and provides entertainment to all sorts of genres for all likes of people. His aim was to bring people closer together and in creating this concert he certainly did that. Bonnaroo is accompanied with a Ferris wheel and day long events that can get all sorts of people wild! This crazy festival has won numerous awards one being Rolling Stones best concert of the year! So, if you are a true music lover and are looking for a thrill Bonnaroo will surely give you the most excitement a person can handle. I would do anything to make it to Bonnaroo for one year, it has an epic feel to it when people from all over the nation come to see. If you want to get sloppy with your friends and enjoy the wonders of music then Bonnaroo is the place for you.

Warped!

van’s warped tour is one of the largest tours in America. They go for months at a time to cities all around the country. This insane event began in 1995 and mostly featured punk rock bands, but as of the later years it has diversified its range of bands. Vans put on a skateboarding show as well in which they promote their own shoes. The tour has been known to feature 100 bands playing at a single event. They play for duration of usually 30 minutes in which they have several stages set up throughout the area.
Warped tour has been a reoccurring festival in south Florida for several years my brother and sister went 3 times before I made my first trip to it. It is a crazy festival for all sorts of rocker people. Dancing, singing, skateboarding. These are what put warped tour over the top for one of the most insane festivals in the land.

Warped tour is known for having a younger crowd. When I was 14 years old I went to Warped Tour with my brother and sister. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect because it was my first concert, but my hopes were high. As I arrived I saw several other people my age, so I was ready to party. The day was great with tons of events and so much to do. The festival in all was tons of fun but not something I would ever want to do again basically because of the type of music. If you are into punk rock and metal than Warped Tour is the place for you, not so much me.
Nobody told me what a mosh pit was until I got there, so as you can imagine I was pretty alarmed. If you go to Warped Tour then be sure to watch out for those unless you are into being hit around then that’s on you. One story that I repeatedly tell about my Warped Tour experience is when a girl went for a stage dive and began to crowd surf. She jumped right on top of me, and “Wham,” kicked me right in the face. I had a black eye for a week. So all you people wishing to go to Warped tour then be prepared to be physical because that was my experience of the event.
